The Outdoor Sports facilities at the Barooga Recreation Reserve include:

• Two magnificent all weather ovals with first class turf wickets for cricket.
• One oval is fully floodlit for games and training in the evenings, the other is marked out with an athletic track.
• Netball courts.
• Six day/night tennis courts.
• Pony club for your equestrian pursuits.
• Children's playground.
• Other areas suitable for orienteering, archery and athletics.

These facilities combine to make the Barooga Sports Club the ideal pre-season training ground for all sports clubs. They have been used for this purpose by the Carlton, Essendon, Western Bulldogs, Kangaroos, Richmond, Hawthorn and Melbourne AFL football clubs.

With the Club Barooga Health & Fitness Centre and The Sporties entertainment & recreation facilities within the same complex, this is also agreat location for corporate retreats, sporting and other group functions.
