Club Barooga Classes

Club Barooga Health & Fitness Centre offers a choice of graded aerobics Club Barooga Classesclasses.

Motivating music, qualified friendly instructors and a fantastic spacious aerobic room allow you the perfect way to get fit and healthy, reduce body fat or simply tone your muscles.

Aquarobics in our 25 metre heated indoor pool is a proven winner with those who have less mobility than they would like, achieving great results in the water.

All classes are graded for your safety and convenience, allowing everyone the chance to exercise. Choose a class appropriate to your needs. Please read the class descriptions below.

Class Descriptions

  • Aqua: 60 fun filled minutes of exercise in our heated pool to achieve a non-stress, fat burning workout. Swimming is NOT required.
    • Level: Beginner to Intermediate. Bookings essential.
  • Beginner Step: 45 minute basic step class aimed at participants new to step. Includes easy to follow step moves and toning exercises.
    • Level: Beginner to Intermediate
  • Cardio/Pump: 1 hour total - 30 minutes cardio, 30 minutes pump. Includes abdominals.
    • Level: Intermediate to Advanced
  • DWR: Deep Water Running utilising flotation buoyancy vest. Great cardio work-out without the stress. Combines tone, strength and endurance for great overall health and fitness benefits. Suitable for those returning to exercise.
    • Level: Beginner to Average
  • Early Morning Circuit: Early morning start at 7am, all levels of fitness. Includes some weights for tone, cardio, boxing and abdominals. Plenty of variety and motivation to start the day.
    • All levels
  • Legs Bums 'N' Tums: A cardio blast to pick anyone up after a long stressful day, geared up to specifically tone those problem areas - legs, butt and thighs, not to mention abs. This power hour will give everyone a great all over defining workout. Expect the unexpected.
  • Lite Step: Learn basic Step Reebok with easy to follow moves to promote fat burning & improve fitness in a comfortable atmosphere.
    • Level: Beginner to Intermediate
  • Pilates: This is an eight week pre-paid program each term. Please contact Club Barooga Health and Fitness Centre for more information.
  • Pump: 50 minute class of complete muscle conditioning, using barbells, dumbbells, powerbars and Steps.
    • Suits all levels of fitness. No cardio component. Bookings Essential.
  • Step Basic: 60 minute step class, plus toning for those problem areas. Great cardio workout.
    • Level: Intermediate to Advanced
  • Step Below The Belt: 60 minute Step Class with extra work on toning the lower body.
    • Level: Beginner to Intermediate. Bookings essential.
  • Step/Fab Abs: 45 minute class - Step 30 minutes, plus 15 minutes abdominal conditioning.
  • Yoga: Yoga course for beginners or experienced participants wishing to tone, strengthen and practice relaxation techniques. Pre-paid program, please enquire at reception.
    • Members concession available. Swim, sauna and spa included.

Note: for your safety & aerobic etiquette all participants must complete cool down before leaving the class. Don't forget your towel & a drink.
